ATLANTA, GA – February 22, 2023 – Xplor Mariana Tek, a powerful, easy-to-use boutique fitness software platform under Xplor Technologies, has announced the winners of their inaugural 2023 Mariana Tek Studio Awards. The accolades recognize those small to medium sized businesses driving innovation in the fitness and wellbeing sector, celebrating the top 20 studios across North America leading the charge.

Xplor Mariana Tek saw strong revenue gains in 2023 – studio brands using the platform saw overall visit and guest booking volumes rise by 9% and 35% respectively . The awards celebrate top-performing studios across four categories – the ‘Full House’ Award, the ‘Community’ Award, the ‘Be Our Guest’ Award and the ‘Growth Guru’ Award. Each category has five winners, representing territories across North America’s highly competitive fitness landscape (Northeast, Southeast, West, Midwest, and Canada).

Winners were determined using studio performance insights within Xplor Mariana Tek, assessing bookings, class attendance, guest visits, memberships, and overall revenue growth. Winners received promotional materials and a gift box to celebrate their achievement.

Wellness services – such as personalized nutrition plans, advanced recovery workshops, breathwork and guided mediation – were another key driver of change within the industry last year. According to Xplor Mariana Tek’s Wellness Trends Report, 60% of boutique studios either currently offer or plan to offer wellness services in the next one to two years. Additionally, Xplor Mariana Tek data shows that studio membership prices are typically 26% higher for brands offering wellness services. These findings highlight the industry's responsiveness to consumers’ demands for a more holistic approach to health and fitness.
